Mick Blue Talking porn, race cars and comic books and finding love

Paul Sparks here C.F.O and Chairman of the Board of Explicit .Look I love racing anything on 4 wheels just like  award winning adult performer Mick Blue . So this month on Explicit I got to sit down with Mick and talk about Porn , comic books , love and racing .

So, Mick are ready to talk porn, race cars and comic books and of course finding love in the adult entertainment industry?

Absolutely! I love talking about all those things. Fire away!

How did you get into the adult entertainment industry to begin with?

I took my first steps toward getting into the adult industry back in Austria in 1999. It was for amateur productions where you have to pay as a talent to perform in front of the camera. Through doing those shoots I got recommended to the owner of OKM, an Austrian contact magazine. From there I went to Venus 2000 in Berlin, the biggest erotic convention in Europe. That’s where everything actually started to click together.

in your opinion what is the difference between the adult entertainment industry in Europe and the US?

Right now, I’d have to say the biggest difference between Europe and US is that in the States most of the production happens in one area, mainly the Valley – owing to obscenity laws. In Europe, you have to travel to a different town pretty much for every shoot. Also, now days the testing system for performers is much more organized and controlled here in the US than in Europe.

About how many female performers have you worked with in the industry?

That is a tough question. To be honest, I can only guess with how many female performers I have worked with at this point. My best estimate, over the past 17 years it must have been somewhere just over 3,000?

You are married to one of the female performers in the industry Anikka Albrite, I understand that you met on a plane can you tell us about your first meeting?

Yeah. Totally. I saw my amazing wife Anikka the first time on the plane to San Francisco. We had our first conversation on the shuttle bus from the airport to location. It was brief. We were both in relationships with other people at the time. Still, she made a big impact on me. We didn’t work together that day but, over the next few months, we worked together a few times. The chemistry was great. The first time we kissed was AVN 2013 when we met on the convention floor at AEE and we both were single. It was magical!

You are obviously madly in love with your wife, how do you keep your relationship fresh and healthy?

We treat every day as something special and we never take our relationship for granted. We are both very thankful that we have found each other and appreciate sharing a life together.

You and Anikka are not just husband and wife you are also business partners with your production company Bam Visions what is that like?

It is great to share the same business together. It’s teamwork for Bam and also in our relationship. I am super thankful to be able to work in our industry, because it gives us both the ability to spend as much time as possible together.

How did Bam Visions come about?

Maestro split the partnership with Mike Adriano and was looking for a new partner. Mimefreak called and gave me the news. I’d known Maestro many years, so we set a meeting with him Tiziana his wife, Anikka and myself. And Bam Visions was created.

You are also a multiple AVN and xbiz award winner what is it like to be recognized for your work in such a way?

To be recognized for the work in such way is amazing and a dream come true. I am super thankful for the amazing support of my wife Anikka, and also all the directors, performers and producers to give me the possibility to shine and show my talent, because without team work and support nothing is possible.

It’s a wonderful feeling that all the reviewers like my work and give me all this great feedback. It’s a lot of work that every one of them puts in on a daily basis.

What do you think it takes to be a successful male performer in the adult entertainment industry?

I think to be successful as a male performer the most important thing is that you love and respect woman and will always try to give your best. There is always something new to learn and only as a team you can be successful.

I understand that you are a huge comic book fan what we’re some of your favorite comic books growing up in Austria?

(laughs) I loved reading Lucky Luke and Asterix and Obelix. Besides that, I watched Speedy Gonzales and Tom and Jerry. And Def Poppey.

Do you still read comics today, if so what?

I wish I could find time to read comics these days. As of now I haven’t read any, but if I had more time I’d get back into Asterix and Obelix again.

You recently decided to take the steps of living out your child hood dream of becoming a professional race car driver. So how did this come about?

Since I was a small kid I was fascinated in car racing. I grew up watching formula 1 and had a dream to race. As you might know it was very expensive back then, so my parents got me a pair of skis instead, because they didn’t have so much money and it was more         affordable. I end up ski racing up until I was 16.

Then, five years ago, I started driving 100cc and 125cc go carts as a hobby. It lasted about two year or so, up until I met my wife. We had a lot of important things to work on, like our wedding and our careers. Even back then, carting was expensive, and time consuming. I had to cut back.

Last year Anikka bought me the three-day racing school experience from Skip Barber racing school for my 40th birthday. We went there mid-December. I did so well I got invited to participate in the Skip Barber racing school academy shootout in February in Atlanta Motorsports Park to compete against twenty-nine other drivers for a sponsored Racing season in the Skip Barber championship series 2017. After all was said and done, I’d placed in the top 10.

What class do you race in?

Right now I am still trying to figure out what I want to race. First, I have to find sponsors to be able to continue racing this year. Depending on the sponsors I can find, I will decide with them which series they would like me to race in.

My top goal would be US F4 Championship series or Skip barber chamionship series or Lukas oil racing school championship series.

What is your top speed so far?

On the racetrack 125mph and in Austria on the highway 176mph.

Where can fans and potential sponsors learn more about your goals and how to help?

I created a video about my racing plans and goals and the approve for sponsors in the future. I am looking to find companies that like my story and believe in my abilities to be successful in racing and can represent them well.

I want to show the rest of the world that even at forty years young you can still become successful in racing and reach your goals with the right dedication. I am determined to drive the Indycar race series in 2020. I have the talent and the speed. All I need is to find the right support, because only as a team you can reach your goals.

Growing up in Austria did you get a lot of spending tickets?

Oh yes. I got a lot of tickets when I was young. Luckily, it’s pretty cheap in Austria.

What is your daily drive like?

In Los Angeles, out on the street I am pretty much a boring driver. I’d rather go as fast as I can on the racetrack than on the street. I prefer to be in an safe environment when I race.

I can honestly tell you that we here at explicitlist.com @ExplicitInc are very excited for you Mick most of all myself, due to the fact that I also race in the desert class. So what are your goals for racing?

That is awesome. As I said before, my top goal would be to race open wheel cars but in the end, I would race anything as long as it has 4 wheels. I love the speed and the challenge to learn new things and compete with the best.
